The surface

Built for British weather

Resin bound is a mix of natural aggregate and clear, UV-stable resin, hand-trowelled onto a prepared base to form one continuous, bonded surface. The result is hard-wearing, attractive and — crucially — fully permeable.

We install over a properly prepared permeable base, or directly over sound existing concrete and tarmac where the survey allows. Either way, the finish is the same: flawless.

  • SUDS-compliant. Fully permeable with the complete system — rainwater drains through, no run-off, no puddles.
  • UV-stable colour. Premium resins resist yellowing and fading in the sun.
  • Weed-resistant. A seamless, bonded surface leaves nowhere for weeds to take hold.
  • Non-slip. Naturally grippy underfoot, even on sloped driveways.
  • Low maintenance. An annual power wash keeps it looking brand new.
Our process

How we lay your driveway

Survey & design

We measure up, assess your base and help you choose the aggregate colour and finish.

Resin and aggregate are force-mixed on site and hand-trowelled to a smooth, seamless surface.

Cure & enjoy

The surface cures and is ready to walk on and drive on in a short time — we leave the site spotless.

Questions

Driveway FAQs

How long does a resin driveway last?
A properly installed resin bound driveway laid on a sound, well-drained base is a long-term surface. The UV-stable resin and natural aggregate are designed to keep their appearance for many years with minimal upkeep.
Do I need planning permission?
Because resin bound is permeable, it generally does not require planning permission for a front driveway — one of its big advantages over impermeable surfaces. We'll talk you through anything specific to your property at the survey.
Can you remove my old driveway?
Yes. Where needed we can excavate and dispose of the old surface and lay a new permeable base. Where the existing base is sound, we may be able to overlay it — the survey decides.
